GREAT BRITAIN

The MKII Steel Helmet.

The MKII British helmet, along with the MKIII "Turtle" are perfect for this impression. Adding scrim to the helmet really does a world of good for caouglage.

(Note the bandage under the net.)

Primary Weapon.

This "Tommy" is armed with the Lee Enfield N°4 rifle, a newer improved version of the Short Magazine Lee Enfield or SMLE, as his primary weapon. We encourage all of you to use bolt action rifles as it enhances gameplay.

Pattern 37 BD Tunic.

The iconic British Battle Dress Tunic and Service shirt. You can spot that this is not a "Red Arse" but rather an aspiring young NCO why the LCpl stripes on his arm.

Belt Kit.

As you can see the soldier is wearing standard Pattern 37 Webbing, and its greenish hue denotes that it has been doused with Blanco. important items here for eating, hydration!

Pattern 37 BD Trousers.

The standard issue for British Troops were the Pattern 37 BD trousers.

Footwear.

Here you can see the Rifleman is wearing Ankle Boots, Black, Ammo Boots, and Anklets Web (Gaiters).

What about a sidearm?

If you limit your rifles to under 370fps / 1.27j you wont need a side arm, and this will allow you to storm enemy positions up close an personal. A rubber bayonet is far more effective than your rifle at such close quarters.

Can I use Officer kit? ?
We would NOT recommend coming to an event as an Officer or NCO. These roles are reserved for crew and people in command appointments.
